Rheumatoid arthritis, foot pain, (gout) can be a very painful issue. It is a condition that effects millions of people all over the world. Anti-inflammatory medications can help with swelling.
Once your pain is subsided your doctor can prescribe medications and give you a cortisone shot. Medications can be prescribed to prevent gout attacks in the future. They wash out the uric acid from the joint and stop the swelling. The medications can also help uric acid from forming.
When you are overweight you will need to lose the extra weight. High blood pressure and high cholesterol need to be treated. If you drink alcohol and eat high purine food then you will need to drink a lot more water. Water will help flush uric acid from your body.
